Snow 1926 Snow Tractor with Henry Ford

Thought some of you up north would find this interesting. Too bad global warming is making snow but a memory from days gone by.

Check out this "Snow Tractor" video. It is pretty impressive.

For the tractor lovers amongst us.

I always love that when I see it, but it would be useless on a road, I fear. I am not sure what it could pull, otherwise it would be a good snowmobile trail groomer even today.

I don't know, it seemed to pull that skid of logs pretty well.
Dang cool invention. Other than using screws, it's pretty much a snowtrak machine of today.

Just imagine slipping off the seat onto one of those screw drive things.

ya know I have seen this a few times.. and this time I decided to do a little research..
It appears that one is in a museum in California..
