That's odd, 'cause the one on my 2120 has pushed many a branch out of the way for me and never bent. Maybe it's different from the 1920 unit. I did have to reweld the bottom of the muffler, as the whole thing had bent back from hitting things, but the pipe held.

Years ago when I bought my JD 5105 the dealer dropped it off at my place and said "now, don't worry about that stack...just go out and bend it right away so you can be done with it...that big canopy is what you want to be careful with." So a few months later my father in law jumped on the JD with only 20 or so hours on it. I figured he'd bend the stack right away and had come to terms with having to buy a new stack. I had mowed around all of the trees and obstacles and told him "Andy...that's the only NEW tractor I've ever bought so please just keep it out in the field and BE CAREFUL." He made one pass with it in the field & headed right for the trees I told him to stay out of. The stack never even got a scratch...the canopy...that's another story. I didn't even see him hit the tree with it. As he came back in from mowing I could tell something wasn't right. The rubber trim piece that goes around the canopy was hanging down. Upon further inspection and after hearing him say "I'm (he-double-hockey sticks) on equipment," I noticed he had busted the one corner of my $500 canopy off. The moral of this story: Don't ever get married and NEVER NEVER NEVER let anyone near your tractor!!!!! HA HA!!!!
