My operator`s book says there is a dip stick to check the oil in the reversing gear box ( feed roll and header drive ) my gear box does not have a dip stick, there is a little plug down near the bottom facing the left tire. This plug seems quite low on the gear box >> but is that the correct level or should it be higher in the gear box ??
Also the operators book talks about plates inside that need to be ajusted for proper slippage, did all these gear boxes have these plates ???
