Hi I am new to this forum and I have bought a 78 1855 garden tractor. It is in pretty good shape overall,runs good but dosn't charge. It needs to be painted of course but the only troublesome thing is the hydro stuff. The deck takes a long time to lift when warm. If it is cold it will raise up fine. The hydro drive seems to be fine although I would guess same pump runs both. Anyone point me in the direction of trouble shooting this? I was thinking of trying a fluid and filter change first. I got about 5 or more implements with it including a plow,harrow,snow blade,blower as well as a couple other things for $1000.00 I think I got a deal. Any opinions?
