Mowing 1816 mahindra 60 inch finish mower

Own a 1816 Mahindra which I use with a four foot brush cutter. No problem so far, A friend wants to sell me his 5 foot finish mower for the three point hitch. Wondering if the tractor size is ok for the 5 foot finish mower. Plan only to use if the grass needs a trim. Any long stuff and I would use the brush cutter. any suggestions.

No problems there. You could do 6ft probably. I have a 1981 yanmar 18hp diesel and it came with a 4 ft mower but it would easily handle 5ft, probably 6ft.

I am getting a 5' finish mower Monday for my Max 22 and was discussing this with him. I was concerned with my tractor being able to pull it with the hills I have, and he said the 1816 had no problem pulling the 5' finish mower so my Max would certainly be fine as well.
