Massey Ferguson 1734E
Hello New to the Forum, I have a 1734E Tractor. Symptom began after allowing a regen indicated by lights after work and allowed the tractor to run as recommended until lights extinguished. After approximately 1,5 Hours I returned to find it was now beeping and reduced RPM. AGCO, MF not interested in helping. Filed a complaint with customer service no joy. Local dealers well my impression this must be a big problem, they reported it could be 2 - 3 months to take a look at this specific symptom. So I assume this is a known issue and difficult to resolve. they were les helpful after discovering I purchased my tractor in GA and not from them and its now out of warranty.

Completed so far, Replaced air filter, fuel filter, checked wiring. Cannot allow to run because of the blaring alarm. There is an ODB online, but will it allow me to silence the alarm? Dealer not interested in any help as looks like they have a long wait list. I have some mechanical aptitude but any help from anyone that has gone through this would be appreciated. The company and dealer network in central FL should be ashamed of responses.

Thank You.

There have reports of people pressure washing and/or detergent washing dpf's .
You could look for a large truck repair facility that has the means to cook the carbon out of the dpf,
just remove it and take the filter to them to clean then reinstall your self.
With the tractor being out of warranty anything in a dealers shop is going to be very expensive.
Or punch a couple of holes through it to allow it to breath.

Just curious, how old is your 1734E, how many hours are on it?

I have heard rumors, this may not be true, but that after a few attempts for the system to regenerate itself the computer is locked and the dealer must use their software to "reset it" and force a regen.

Hopefully others with more knowledge than me will reply.

Thank You, its 7 years old. I did come across an ODB Reader, with basic functionality. Not sure if it will reset the codes, from the interaction so far, it seems to be very much an issue that few want to take the time to address.
