1725 whole steering shaft pops out

I'm going to be working on a new holland 1725 for an older gent and don't really know what to expect but he says the steering wheel/shaft comes out. I'm guessing a lock ring holds it in place? I have worked on a lot of fords,mf,fergusons,others - but not one of these.

Any advice is welcome, thanks
