I have a 1720 that I use to mow a fairly steep ditch with and would like to add some weight to the rear tires for stability. I don't want to put fluid in the tires but would rather install wheel weights. Does anyone know where I can find some of these without purchasing new ones from my dealer. Thanks in advance for any info.

We have seen a few industrious TBNers make wheel weights for their own rigs.

Would think that a used set of wheel weights might be a scarce commodity but I could be wrong here.

We purchased ours from the dealer but did notice that they are made overseas. Said so on the cast iron.

Thanks PineRidge, if you don't mind me asking what did your wheel weights cost you. Thanks again!

I truthfully can't answer that question since they were included with our "package price" from the dealer.

I bought 4 new wheel weights from my NH dealer for my TC55.

They are 105lbs each and cost me $120 apiece.

I also have CACl filled tires, but I run a heavy grapple on my FEL, so the extra weight is absolutely necessary with a full bucket.
