Oil & Fuel 1715 Fuel injector assembly

In the second pdf, It came from where #11 and #1 connect. It never was taken down any further than that. Is it possible that it somehow is the volume reducer and pumpguy mentioned and maybe it was assembled wrong? I am from SC as well.

The only thing in there is a cone shaped "ferrule".. it seals from 11 to 1.. if your line isn't leaking & its running smooth, with no skip, leave it alone..
IF it is leaking & you DO HAVE a skip.. replace the line.. The ferrule shouldn't have fallen off..

No, its not the ferrule, I know what that is lol. And its not leaking there, no visible leaks at all. It runs like a top, just drinks the heck out of diesel now and didnt know if whatever that was may be the culprit. Thanks for all the help and sorry again for the extended response times.
