Well I just bought four of these and am thinking of trying to install them (~$3 each). Here is what they look like. Note the "cut" in the bearing. You can slip a thick piece of paper through the cut.

Measuring them I get an OD = 1.420" an ID = 1.263" and a width = 1.010"

Last I measured my bore (of the loader frame) I got ~ 1.29" this was around the most worn hole (the lower forward-most hole of the frame). So here is my question to all of you.

1. How big would you bore the loader frame hole to accomodate this bearing? I don't know how tight a bearing sleeve should be press fit in.

2. How would you orient the "cut" during installation? Does it matter? Assuming you are on the right side of the loader frame facing the tractor my thought would have the cut at 4 o'clock.

3. Do you think you could bore the loader with a small cylinder bore (attached to a hand drill)? (1.420 - 1.290)/2 = 0.07" material removed around the circumference.

I'm not ready to try this yet just thinking.

I would put a hose clamp arround the new bushing and tighten it up. Now measure the O.D. I would want a .003-.005 press fit.
