1641 cub cadet bad hydro-gear transmission

I have a 1641 with the bdu-21L-306 hydro-gear transmission and no way to purchase a new one right know. I wanted to know if there are other mowers that may have used this transmission or if any other brand would cross reference with the hydro-gear($750 to $950) for replacement. Thanks ahead of time. first post so if I did something wrong let me know.

hey first time user here to but did u think about mayb bein able to rebuild that unit call hydro-gear and ask the price on a rebuild kit not a hard job
