Hello,

I am new to the site and had some questions about the 1610 model. I am looking at purchasing one and wondered what a good price is to pay. It has 1400 hrs and appears to be in good condition. I am going to look at it this weekend. Also can anyone give me some details about it and also any experiences if you have owned one. I will primarily be using it to mow with a finish mower and till small food plots. If I do purchase it, what size mower and tiller would be recommended? My lot is mainly level and soil to be tilled has minimal rocks and no clay. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

I have a 1910 (same tractor 3 more hp) that had 1950 hrs. and I gave $1750 with no imps. Found a Yanmar tiller for $200 that works great. I think it's about 52-53".

Dave, I bought my 1610 a little over a year ago. It had about 900 hours on it and I did infact buy it from a large reputable dealer in NC. I paid $1600 for it, which I feel was a really good price. A lot has to be determined to gain a prospective of what one is worth. If it is a 2 wheel drive without a FEL or any other attachments I don't believe that a price above $2800 is really warranted. If it is a 4wd model w/o FEL, probably about $3500. Eitherway with a FEL add about $2000.
As for attachments, I have a box blade, a brush hog and a pond scoop. The box blade and the brush hog are both 4'. I would not recommend exceeding 4' on any attachment.
