1600 3 point lever adjustment

Thought I saw a thread awhile ago about adjusting the 3 point lever. Didn't know if anyone could head me in the right direction. The one on my 1660 is very tight, makes it hard to make little adjustments when grading/leveling dirt and gravel. I see the linkage below the cab has a double nut holding it on, thinkin I should be able to just loosen it a little and fix it, just looking for a little wisdom from someone that might have done it all ready.

You should just get a top and and tilt kit.

I was talking about the lever in the cab being too tight, no idea how a top and tilt would fix that.

I don't have a cab but my 3 point adjustment is tight also on my 1643. It takes quite a bit to pull move it back and forth. I would also like to know if there is a way to loosen it.
