Ive beentractor shopping for bout 5 months looked at all of em locally orange green blue, mahindra, and massey, well i pulled the trigger on a brand new massey 2010 1540 for a low price of 20000 even, does that sound like a fair price, with 2 rear remotes that should be installed and delevered by thursday, ill post pics when i get it. it seemed like to me when i narowed down between red green and orange that the massey was a heck of alot more tractor for the price, is this y any of you all bought a massey? I think that massey will stand by there product from what ive read on here, I guess im just nervous, beinga poor ol goat farmer i guess im lookin for reassurance on a expensive purchase for me. Oh yea i got a dl 120 loader on it to,

Congratulations , I think you 'll be happy with your purchase . Last summer I looked at all the brands , bought a new 1532 . I am well pleased with mine . I was impressed with MF's fit / finish , warranty , features , and the ease of operation . Again , congratulations:thumbsup:

I beleive you did okay on price . I bought my 1532 w/ FEL ( quick tach bucket ) ( free FEL program ), Bush Hog box blade , Horst pallet forks for $ 18,000 including tax . The 1532 is smaller than what you bought . ( 33 engine h.p. / 26 p.t.o . h.p. ). It still impresses me what a small tractor like this is capable of doing . :thumbsup: The wait for delivery is like a little kid waiting for Christmas !

You made the right choice. I have a 09 1533 same tractor with out the turbo. I have 800 trouble free hours and im not easy on it at times. Got the backhoe with mine and glad I did.

hi, is that 1540 a synchro shuttle ? was the tractor a cash deal price? was tractor on your dealers lot? 1540 's that have to be ordered prices gone up ,thats what my dealer told me yesterday.

Yes it was a syncro shuttle and yes it was on my dealers lot. I got two rear remotes with it as well, and i had a large down payment and did regular finacing not the 0%, I think i did the free loader prgram the way my dealer did it, after shoopin around i felt that i got a good deal on the tractor. my dealer actally called his massey field agent in front of me and got the price lowered some... hope theses were the answeres u wanted

with out the rear remotes bill, we were going do the deal for 19300.but i wanted the remotes in case the future hold a new toy for it that needs the rear remotes
