1535 jumps out of high range

Had to mow in 3rd gear low range. Is there an adjustment that will keep it in high or is it just worn out ?

Those old boxes are like a piece of fine furniture. You should clean it up and display it with pride.

I never let it get dirty. At the plant we thoroughly cleaned them on a regular basis. When I switched careers I retired it to a shelf in the bedroom. The only time I go in it now is for a micrometer or vernier callipers or precision 6" scale.
