1533 V. 1540

Hi, I am interested in these 2 tractors. I plan on using the tractor for a lot of dirt work, possible some bush hog/clearing type work. The only difference I can see in the 2, is the turbo charger pushes up the 1540 7 HP.
How is the turbocharger? Is this adding more complexity and cost for very little benefit? Will the turbocharged engine be more maintenance?
Also I am guessing with FEL and Heavy duty Gannon, I will be up to 6K lbs. Can I tow this with a 1/2 ton p/u? Thanks for any help...This is a great site and I am very appreciative of the input and knowledge I have gained already. Thanks Danny

I had a 33 hp and now have a 40-hp turbo 1440. In my opinion it is worth the difference. The only difference in operating a turbo unit is the need to let the engine idle a little before shutdown and change the oil when it is scheduled.

I have a 2001 ½T Chevy with a 4.8L V-8 and it tows 1540 w/loader. The 5.3 L would be better.
