1500D price/value

Well, I'm thinking of selling my 1500D, but I'm not really sure for how much. I'd like to get around $3000 for it with a 4' king kutter XB boxblade, but at the same time, I do not want to rip anyone off.

Faults:

Tractor has been on its side at some point, as that the exhaust is bent, and so is the hood. The hood can still be opened though.

Both of the knuckles on the front axle have a leak.

Tractor has recently become a little hard to start on cool mornings, and I have blue smoke. I'm thinking rings and valves, but am not sure. I'm guessing about $300 in parts. Does use a little oil, does not use any water, no water in oil or oil in water.

I plan on fixing the knuckles and maybe the smoking problem before putting the tractor in the paper. Also have a supple of oil and fuel filters, along with the service manual and tractor manual.

The rice tires have good tread, but some cracking. They hold air.

The seat is the orginal seat, the cushioning is completely gone now.

What do you think it is worth?

Sounds ok to me. I sold an old TO-20 with a 4 ' cutter that needed a re build very badly for $ 2500 about 3 yrs ago. The buyer was happy to get it. You can always come down on the price if someone makes you an offer that's good for you

I recently purchased a Yanmar 1500D. I need manuals for it, and you have some. I was wondering if they are in English, and if so can you post the part number for them here? I think that would help me in finding some manuals for my tractor.

Your price seems reasonable.

I have a 1500D in better shape in appearance(still the original sick green color however), but about the same mechanically. I have turned down a couple of offers near the amount you are considering.

This was without any implements.
