1500d pops out of low gear

i 'm plowing my back yard, then it started coming out of the low-low gear.can you all help? this is the first time that this has hapened. this is the first time that i have used a plow on my tractor.

The plow is nost likely not the problem. If you can pull it in another gear do so and then fix the problem later. Could be wearo or miss adjustment on the shift linkage. If the gear is not fully engaged it will pop out of gear. I hat that to happen on my 2020 once and it turned out that I did not fully engage the shift leaver. Has not happened again.

I have noticed that my 1500D would do the same when I was pulling under a very heavy load. ie using the rake or box scraper and going up a steep incline in 4wd. The high/low will pop out into neutral. Maybe not a bad thing, so something does not break. Not a common issue, but would like to hear other comments on the subject incase something needs to be looked at....

It won't get better. could be bent fork , but probably warn gears.

It definitely needs to be looked at. Could also be a binding spring loaded detent, (ball).

I would start at the end of the shift lever and see where it leads me.

thanks for your help, i put my foot on the shift lever to hold it in place. i'v put the plow away till the end of the year. one thing was that the gound had never been plow befor,but something must be wrong. i will check it after my garden work is done.

Personally, to keep my foot free, I would try to use a bungee cord to strap the lever down to hold it in place until you can fix the problem.

I happen to have an extra 1500-D tranny on a pallet if push comes to shove,, to bungy ect....
