$1500 JD #47 backhoe on e-bay

There is a company called McGrew in PA that is selling a JD #47 backhoe on e-bay. There is 4 days left on the auction. They seem to have a lot of items available. Even though the #47 will not fit my tractor, I am curious if I should keep better track of their offerings. Would anyone like to comment on past dealings with them?

I have noticed them a lot lately. They seeem to be good operators. There is a new poster who recently bought a JD 4310 from them who has posted in the JD section,. He seemed to be more than pleased with them.

I have the 47 hoe and it is great.

This hoe looks great, but be sure to factor that the tractor will need the attachment weldment and power beyond. They are a pretty significant installation, athough the hoe them is a dream to mount, dismount. It does not interfere with the loader or mid mower as well.

The 47 fits the 4400, 4400, 4310, and 4410. I am almost certain that is does NOT fit the new 3000TWENTYs or 4000TWENTYs/

Although I could really use a 48 on my 4510, the price would make up for the smaller size. Wonder how the wife would feel about a road trip?

It wasn't spec'd for the 4510. But I don't see why it wouldn't work... Best to make sure, though!

yeah you loose the 12 inches of digging depth. But more importantly, you loose 10 inches of stabilizer spread. Which i believe is there for the larger frame of the 4510.

I bought a hyd dump MCS from them last year for my 445. The description was accurate. They normally don't take credit cards unless you pay the extra couple of percent. I talked to a very nice lady who shipped the MCS out on motor freight after getting a quote. I was well pleased with the transaction.

The # 47 Hoe should be the same unit as Ameriquipe makes them for several OEM's just different mounting Kits, Branson and TYM also use them on there smaller machines,Im not shure who else,Under ameriquip they are sold as the 7600. As far as the seller Ive delt with them a few times.Most idems are decent, Most idems in online auctions jump in price the last day
