1500 Brakes

Just my luck........I was trying to adjust the brakes on my YM1500. The rod was rusted solid intio the adjusting nut and I twisted the rod in two trying to work it free.

I'm guessing that the parts guys on line won't carry that part. Any ideas for a generic replacement rod?
