I welded the forged hooks to 1.5 x 1/4 flats with a single mount, so they can attached in an appropriate direction towards there load. Yes they are "weld on" 5/16 hooks. I really liked them and when we get a tractor, they'll be welded onto its bucket asap.

I like the chains and hooks. Very creative and overbuilt like the rest of the building.
Are those weld-on hooks, welded to flat straps so they can pivot?

The work on the shed is interesting and looks good. Have to say the work shop photos from the ramp project seem like a nice set up also :)

The paint shop said the ramps and threshold are done so I'll be picking them up this week and get them installed. The vynil decking also needs to be installed on the ramps. Here is some photos of the decking on, before I sent the ramps to the paint shop. I installed little angle irons at the leading and trialing edges so sliding implements doesn't tear the decking. In the photos, the angles were just tacked on. Later before being sent to the paint shop, they were seriously attached.

Thank you for the kind words.

Threshold was bent into position and screwed down today. When it was formed, it became a bit bow shaped so the two load straps and the 2x6's seen in the first 2 photos where holding it in the correct position.

In the later photos, the decking was not attached to the ramp or trimmed to there proper length.

In the last one you can see the bolt which will hold the ramp into the door frame. A lock will keep it there and a plate will be added to the frame for the bolt to slide into. Hope that makes all makes sense.

Arly, somehow I never saw this thread going way back to the beginning, which in a way is good because it was a good 10 page read. Nice shed, you guys really did it right. That looks like a pretty good size roller/compactor, is it an 86"? Do you pull that with the Grizzly, or what?

That roller is wider than 86" and I can't recalled its width right now. I think its about 9ft with its flexible wings. Its construction was well documented on the grooming forum. (another forum we both are on) It's normally towed by our ATV but it is occasionally towed by our UTV. I'll attach photos of both.

Ramps were finally attached today. 1st photo is the door latch anchor that wasn't fully attached yet. It later got six, 4" structural screws in it and these go into three, 2x6's.

Other photos are of the locking mechanism so just one padlock, works for both ramps. Tomorrow I'll get this finished up and post another photo that shows how the left ramp is locked up.
