I came upon a deal I think in a 69 140. It has a johnson loader and a rear tiller with both extensions. I was able to negotiate it down from 1500 to 1000 dollars. The bad news is that my nephew say it first and since he could not get off work to go look at it he called and asked me to look at it for him. Its an h3, has an above average 48" deck, extra set of wheels and brand new tires, all service manuals and parts manuals. He asked me to look at it because he knows I have a 140 that I bought new and still use every week. the engine turned over with compression but the points were closed. I was not to worried about that because at that price he can afford to spend some money on it. I volunteered to get it running and check it out as to the attachments and the running works. The tractor seems to be in decent shape for age, just surface rust and general clean up to have a fine machine. One of these days I will find one to restore for me. Until then I enjoy working on them.
