1370 White - starter parts

Hi, having problems with my starter on my 1370 White. The armature is really bad and I've been told it's impossible to get parts. Any help would be appreciated. patrick

What if you take it to a shop that rebuilds starters?

Yes, I just brought it home from a starter rebuilder and he said I should try and locate another armature. The starter works but needs a replacement badly. So, where can I get one...or a used starter I guess. It is Italian, Fiat, I can get a new one....over $500. !!
