Somehow the gopher population has exploded this year in northern California.

I can't do any gardening in my property without getting rid of gophers.

I use to have a bunch of gophers too. I now have fox, hawks, owls that are fed good.

I never had gophers until this past year. It must be a huge population boom everywhere for them. I was fighting them and ground squirrels all last summer.

Booming here in southern CA too. Popping up everywhere. So far the cats are keeping them out of my lawn in front of the house but fields are full of mounds and coyotes, hawks, and owls not keeping up

I have so many feral hogs in my area and creating more problems in the property.

Also, there are still too many gophers.

It is a never-ending problem...

We've shot or trapped well over 50 feral hogs at my central TX deer lease this year. It's never ending. Other than the destruction from rooting, the biggest issue for our rancher is they disseminate the prickly-pear seeds. Late fall they eat the ripened prickly-pear fruit and spread the seeds in their droppings.
