Price Check 1320 Info and Pricing Advice Wanted

I just found Ford 1320 (no loader - bare tractor) with 320 hours at a dealer that seemed to be in good condition. Does anyone have any of the specs (years build, engine hp, pto hp, PTO type, weight) on these? They are asking $8000 for it - is that reasonable?

Those are very good small tractors, built in Japan by Shibaura, they are 17 HP at PTO but are husky little fellas. The front axle is huge for such a small tractor,the hydraulic pump is also oversized, nearly 7 GPM. You can find most of the specs you are looking for at machinerylink.com you will need the serial number to find the make-year , that particular model was manufactured for quite a number of years.

Any recommendations for a loader to add? Can it handle a 5 ft Rotary cutter or does it not have enough HP?

Hi, Paul I have 1320 4wd w/ 7108 loader, 914 mid-mount finish mower,turf tires with chains and rears loaded, 4ft bush hog.
I paid $10,000 just for the tractor and finish mower with 560 hrs and in perfect condition. The i added a used loader and washer fluid in rear tires later on for $2,500.
It might handle 5ft cutter on flat gorund and short grass but be pushing it.

We have one at work with a 5' rotary cutter. It works fine for us. As others have mentioned it is a larger frame tractor with an engine usually found in a smaller machine. It is really an impressive machine.

I think we paid $14000 used a couple of years ago, with FEL and MMM. It was like new. The problem with buying a bare tractor is that the costs of the attachments will eat you up.

I have a 1998 1320 4x4 HST with a 7308 loader, 4 ft tiller and 5' finish mower. I just traded my unit, tractor and loader for a DX33 4x4 HSt and 114A loader. I have had great luck with mine and it is a brute! I just bought a 914A MMM for it and looks like I won't be needing it now. I think you'll like it fine. I have a couple of MMM mowers if you need one!
