12hp Gravely

Hi I have a 12hp Gravely with a kohler k301s engine. It seems to run great but it blows white smoke under load. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

White smoke under load is oil or water (but I assume its not water cooled). It could be just overfilled but if its caused by worn rings the cheapest fix is to use 'low smoke' oil designed for old engines. I find it works well.
