a GT class tractor - built by IH - 12 HP Kohler - Hydro tranny - if in decent shape, should be a strong machine...MHO

depends on your level of pulling. hydrostatic transmissions aren't the best for rugged pulling. I would reccomend you either get a 1200 or swap the engine to a stick frame if you are going serious in pulling with that 12

I don't I was just waiting my options out.. But I don't want to ruin a perfectly good tractor

if your looking , find a 582 or 682 with a cast iron rear end. (IH built) it has a 16hp engine and manual trans.
I have a 582 and put a 18hp twin B&S in it. I dont pull with it. but it'll pull a 12" plow like nothing is back there, with enough wheel weights. and pushed snow like a dream.

no , I put Ag tires on the front and back. back also has waights and chains.
