Im still learning all the models but I'll give it a shot.(been working for Northwood Power a whole week)

1235 is the last of the 1200 series being sold 30horse hydro
1433H deluxe model comperable to a 4300 Deere 3430 Kub
1433S sincro shuttle comperable to a kub dt
1433PS power shuttle comperable to a Kub GST, Deere power shuttle
1433v basic non sincro standard trans
1440 is the 1433 with a turbo (adds 7hp for a grand, cheapest performance upgrade I have seen anywhere)

Other than color and the hood the Agco is the same thing
a model for model comp.

Look at the Cat and then look at the MF's. The Cat is the MF 1200 series not the 1400 series.

Hey Stvman, guess I'll be visiting your store this week for my NEW TRACTOR!! I haven't seen anything to change my mind, and if the comparison to a 3430/4300 is correct, I will save some dough and get a great dealer too. Pretty nice when you can ask everybody you know and not one bad comment about Northwood! I met wally at the fair thurs and so far everything he told me has checked out....so, maybe I'll get to meetcha!! I'll be the retired rock & roller lookin' farm grunt....wonder if i can get a deal on the 1440??!!!

I got to say, I realy like the 1433's If and when I ever get a new/newer tractor, that will be the first one I wil look at. Big enough to do what I need to do, but not so big that I can't get where I need to go. Plus I am a gear fan.

I went to a local dealer today and looked at a 1433 and 1440 with shuttle shift. Unfortunately, they did not have any hydro units. They are beefy looking machines but, in my opinion, they are not quite as refined as the Big 3 tractors. I'm obviously referring to minor details and this is not to say I would not buy one.

I will need to go to Northwood Power so I can try the hydro versions of the 1433 and 1440. I would be willing to forgive the some of the minor details if the engine was quiet and the hydro was smooth.

Here are some questions as they relate to the 1433H and 1440H since I have not seen a hydro version, have not talked with a knowledgable dealer as of yet, and have not found up-to-date specs. Someone said to ask specifics, well here ya go. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
1. Does it have mechanical or electronic cruise control?
2. Does the hydro use mechanical linkage or is it electronic like the JD eHydro?
3. Is the mid-PTO independent of the rear-PTO or dependent on the rear-PTO? That is, can you run the mid-PTO without having the rear-PTO engaged?
4. Where is the lever/button for the mid-PTO engagement located?
5. Are you limited to two (2) optional factory remotes? I only saw two (2) slots.
6. What type of MMM units are available? Is there only a 72" Side Discharge MMM unit? Do they have a 84" MMM unit? Do they have a rear discharge MMM option or is it side-discharge only? Do they have a mulching kit for their side-discharge MMM?
7. Do they use the 3PH linkage for raising/lowering the MMM or do they use a remote with separate hydraulic cylinder?
8. What brand of diesel engine do they use?
9. Do they use direct or indirect injection?
10. How many gallons does the fuel tank hold?
11. Are the telescoping lower links on the 3PH an option or is it standard?
12. Is the crank handle on the right link adjustment an option or is it standard?
13. Do they have an optional arm rest kit for the seat? Do they have a deluxe seat option? The seat definitely left something to be desired.
14. Are the folding ROPS an option or standard?
15. What is the ground clearance?
16. Is the length of 121.5" including the 3PH?
17. What is the weight of the tractor with ROPS and tires (no loader)?
18. What is the wheelbase?
19. What is the turning radius with brakes?
20. Does the it use a treadle pedal or dual pedal for the hydro?
21. The one odd thing I noticed was a PTO engagement lever on the rear axle housing. What is the purpose of this handle and it's location?

AGCO/MF really needs to update their specifications to make it easier to compare them with their competition. I will try to get some of these from a dealer but feel free to answer any that you may know.

I have tried to answer as many of your questions as possible. I was not able to answer all that you ask about the Hydros because I have had no interest or use for one and have never checked them out.

(3) Yes, you can run the mid PTO without the rear running.
(4) The mid PTO has a lever under you left leg to put it into gear. Then it can be turned on and off with an electric switch on the steering column.
(5) I think that you are. That is all that I wanted so that is all I checked on. You do have an option of having the two levers that you saw or a joystick. The joystick is what I have for my remotes. (I actually have two joy stick, one for the loader and one for remotes.)
(8) All of the MF are made by Iseki and their engines are also made by Iseki.
(9) They are all indirect as far as I know.
(10) 7.9 gallons
(11) I believe that they are standard now. The V’s and non-V’s that I have looked at all had telescoping links.
(12) All I have looked at has the crank and my manual only shows a crank.
(13) No arm rest. The non-V’s have a different seat than the 1200’s had. It is much thicker and much more supportive.
(14) They all fold.

(16) Yes, the total length with hitch is 121.5”

(20) I have not look at a 1400 series Hydro, but I have look at a Cat 285 which is the same as a MF 1260. I don’t know if the peddles are the same or not, but the 285 has a forward, back peddle that is on the same mechanism but you have to move you foot front to back to work it.
(21) That lever is just to engage the PTO gears in the transmission, but it doesn’t turn on the PTO.

So is the lever to engage the rear PTO the one on the rear axle housing or is there also one in the cockpit? So you select the ones you want on and then you engage with the electronic button ... is this correct?

This is interesting ... a joystick for the remotes? Where is it installed? Do you have any pictures of this?

Interesting ... I thought they would weigh the same as the L3430 or TC35D. They look around the same size and the MF looks just as beefy but it's 300 lbs lighter. It seems to be more in line with the JD4310 in terms of weight.
