Anybody know if these 12 volt DC Fuel Transfer Pumps work at less than 32 Deg F...pumping diesel fuel? I just bought a new model that makes no statement in that regard. This model is good for gasoline as well as diesel and has an aluminum body. The cast iron models state..."durable through all types of weather"........whatever that means.

Hard to say for sure but diesel doesn't really thicken up until it is really cold or if it has moisture in it. I have never had problems pumping diesel out of my transfer tank in my pickup with the 12volt pump even in temps near zero.

Thanks bdog............I called the Fillrite company line, and they said it is functional from 0 deg F to 150 deg F.......pumping diesel. Thanks again.
Obviously, at either of those extremes, I won't be tractoring.

I have a Fillrite and use down to -30F with no problems.

Good luck, Fred
