Makes a heck of a difference if the blade is sharp and type of material also...

I also have a generator in the van... have not used it since I can't remember when.

The inverter is clean and quiet for small repairs...

OP here.

My neighbor is building a small barn close to me and brings the wood to my place when he needs to cut them. I should have run those watts and amperage numbers myself to see that he couldn't justify the expense.

rememebr the alt may not like being loaded like this either.

it can work in the correct setup, for limited use.

harbor freight has some decently inexpensive big inverters like that. IE.. 2000/4000w jobs.
