Has anyone priced the 12 LA loaders?

Solo,

I believe the 12LA replaces the 7308? New Holland has changed their web site so I can't confirm that. The 12LA came out about two months after I got my 7308 and I did ask the dealer about pricing on them. He told me that all of the new style in each range was about the same price as the old. I paid about $2500.00 for my loader. The 7308 went with the 25, 29 and 33 horsepower tractors.

Hope this helps you.

Hey Guys,
I just got on the NH website, and found the following page. http://www.newholland.com/na/Products/frontend.html.
The 12 LA is for the smaller size Compacts, like my TC21D, and Solo's TC18. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifI haven't had a need to price them, but I would assume, that they are close in price to what was stated here. The biggest problems are is your TC18 loader ready. I know when I was shopping around the dealer only bought loader ready tractors. I hope your dealer did the same. Also the other expense is installation. I wish that at the time when I bought my tractor the 12 LA loaders were available, but they were not out yet. Anyway good luck, and please let us know how you make out.

Steelfan,
What do you mean by "loader ready"?

Hi Solo,

My understanding of Loader-Ready, is the tractor has the joystick on it, and connections for your hoses. Also if I remember right the bracket is in place for the loader hookup. Should look like two arms coming out from the side of front frame. This is where the weight of the loader rests. There may be other things I'm forgetting but these are 2 things to look for. I don't have a good picture of my tractor without the loader, or that would definitely help. The dealer said it silly for him not to get his tractors in Loader-Ready, most people wanted that option. Good Luck, I hope this helps you.

12LA loaders are designed for all TC24s and TC18/21/12D AFTER a specified serial number. As far as I know, tractors built prior to that serial number break will need a 7106 loader.

RickB,

You're probably right about that. The 7106 may have a different setup completely for hookup. My tractor came with the 7106, which was the only one available at the time.

I thought thats what you meant by "loader ready". I did not have all the hydraulics plumbed or the loader mount or anything installed for the loader when I bought it. I also figure I will have to go with the 7106, since my 18 is a 2000 model. Thanks for the info.

Steel,

I can't get the web page you linked to to work. New Holland has changed their web page in the last couple of days. I wasn't sure which tractor fit the new style loaders. The thing that my dealer told me was the newer loaders are about the same price as the previous ones. You are also right about the older tractor's not being able to accept the newer loaders. As far as I know also, the 18 all the way up to the 33 is not loader ready. On my 21 and my 29 we had to install all of the hydraulics and the brackets for the loaders. Once on though, they sure are nice.

Hi Murph,

I don't understand about the link not working. It doesn't work for me either. I even tried copy\paste and it still didn't work. If I'm not mistaken ,I think they have a 14 LA Loader for the TC25,TC29, & TC33. Someone can corrected me if I'm wrong. I just thought I remembered that number also.
You maybe right about the installation being done at the dealer's shop. I know the only thing he sold were loader-ready tractors. Thanks for the info.

Solo,

You're welcome, I just wanted to warn you a head of time. I can't remember the difference in price to get it or not. My dealer must install them at his shop, and order the kits for all tractors that he sells. Good Luck.
