I'm a little late posting this, but I wanted to pass it along.

I keep my tractor in a lean-to and run off road fuel ( no additives ). I wasn't too sure the tractor would start @ -12 F, but I figured I'd give it a whirl so I could remove about 5 inches of snow. It took three tries. First two times it ran a few seconds then quit. After I decided it would run, I left it warm up at 1200 rpm. Eventually I backed out and proceeded thru my yard. I made it about 250 feet or so before the fuel started to freeze up. It took quite a while before I could get the tractor to run long enough, at low rpm, to get it into my heated building/garage. After I got it inside, I left for breakfast. The sun was up and around - 6 F when I started clearing the snow with no problems.

My point is that I was sure suprised that the tractor started at all. A buddy of mine that uses skid steers and tractors to clear snow, could not start any of them with additives in the fuel. He was surprised to hear my story.

The McCormick is a keeper !!!!
