12.5-38 mtd shutting down

Hi all,

I have n 2002 mtd 12.5 38 that just started shutting down after it warms up. Carb was rebuilt in the spring and it ran like a bear until now. I have fuel to the carb, tank was flushed when the carb was done. IT starts right up but after it warms up it starts to pulse then it shuts down. Any help is appriciated.

First check to see if its losing spark when it dies. If it still has spark, could be a loose valve seat on the exhaust valve. they would come loose from the block when they got hot, that would be loss of compression. If it has a fuel solenoid make sure its working and has power. Just a few thinks to look at. Need to find the root cause, fuel, electrical or mechanical
