110 TLB Adding Rear Remote Hydraulics

After searching for two days I could not find a kit for the 110 TLB. I am somewhat surprised. I suspect there would be a significant demand for such a kit and there doesn’t seem to be much complexity to create one, or so I think. If anyone knows of a kit available please feel free to tell about it.

What I want to accomplish is adding three remotes to operate a grader box. Two remotes to operate the top and tilt on the three point hitch and one remote to operate the scarifiers on the grader box.

That machine is no less than 12 years old, not a lot of companies are going to make kits for machine that old, especially ones that where usually sold with full hydro packages already.

Since the backhoe will be removed it seems logical to use the lines remaining on the tractor to feed the remotes. I think sourcing control valves with the same port size is also a good idea. This way there will be know concern of damage or overheating. Am I on the right track here fellows?

Yes,
You can use the "power beyond" that feeds/fed the backhoe to add in a new valve stack. You can configure the stack as you'd like, even adding an electric spool for a front remote if you use ones from Bucher.

Well the machine wasn’t always 12 years old. Has there never been a kit made?

As I wrote, they where usually sold with all the hydro options available from JD, and generally only in the TLB configuration so no rear remotes was need by most customers. The market was smaller contractors and builders who had no use for a 3PH, thats why so many guys in the last few years have looked for them (the 3PH hardware) because they bought used machines from business and they didn't come with them. It too was an option from JD.

Adding remotes is fairly easy, there are 100's of threads here on TBN about it, the theory is all the same no matter the model or brand.

Yes adding rear remotes to the 110 TLB seems particularly easy as the hydraulic lines from the removed backhoe are easily accessible. I wonder how many 110’s were fitted with rear remotes from the factory. I suspect a significant amount were not due to the primary use of the backhoe. I bought mine with 500 hours, I’m fairly sure the backhoe was never removed.

Yes something very much like this! My plan is to make a consolidated unit like the one shown in your picture but with a quick attach feature. This way it won’t be causing interference when the backhoe is used. Taking advantage of the existing quick couplers should make this feasible.

Do I see a set of hoses going to the front on this set-up?

It looks like it, but I do not know for sure, it is a customer's tractor from years ago. All I provided was the valve set and the couplers in a coupler mount. The customer did everything else.
