Buying Advice 1025R vs 3046R

Sounds high to me if it is not a cab tractor. My brother bought a Brand new 4052m loader and dual rear remotes for 28500 earlier this year. Trade price for your 1025 is good. I think I would shop around a little bit. 3 series are not real stable on slopes. My buddy has the 3046r with cab and loader. We put 4 series 5 inch spacers on the back. Help stability a lot. Good luck on whatever you choose.

I have a 3046R with cab and loader. Love it. It is a stout little machine. I only wish that it was wider.

Hi Bear. Same here. Wish the thing was wider. I had heard that the tires/rims/wheels can be flipped making them wider. I asked the dealer to do that before they delivered. They said that it would run into the wheels on the mower deck so they wouldn't do it. For now, I don't use the deck and I want to give this a shot.

For $8500, you could keep the 1025R and get a really good old tractor for larger tasks. MF135, Ford 3000/4000, Old JD 3020, etc. The old solid, simple tractors can be had for well in that price range and will offer way more utility.
