I’d say that’s the correct amount of ballast, maybe even a little on the low side for your tractor if doing end loader work. If you’re mowing the lawn I’d say take the weights off.

I own a 2025r, a larger version of your 1025r. I run roughly 500 pounds in a ballast box plus loaded tires.
