These filters are less than $15 online shipped to your door. This one came out of a 255 a buddy of mine bought that the front end loader , and 3 pt lift would not work on when it got hot. He changed the fluid and filter and ran it about 3 hours and it got really weak/slow

again.
the 2nd time the filter was stopped up again so he changed it and filtered the oil and refilled. Went back to working like it should and worked all day so hopefully got all the mess out of it.
He got a good deal on it because of this problem. the PO let it go cheap thinking it needed a expensive pump replacement.
My buddy has about $300 in fixing it.

Anyone that lets any machine get like that should be drawn and quartered, just plain abuse, there's no other word for it. They'd be the first ones complaining that machine was a POS.
