I stand 5'8" and 175 lbs. I think I'm fairly tough. Got my arss handed to me by a one man PHD in real rocky soil. The problem is not that first or second hole, it's the overwhelming fatigue and lack of strength when you get to the ninth, tenth...etc holes that kills you.

If I were you, and you have rocky soil, I'd rent or buy a two man and get a buddy to help out. You'll be through the job in no time. Like others said if it's sand without big rocks, go for it.
