#1 Cylinder stopped firing

My tractor was sitting idling just fine and then the front cylinder stopped firing. When I put my hand on the fuel lines I can feel a distinctive pulse from lines 2 and 3 and no pulsation from line 1 which would lead me to believe that the #1 injector piston is not pumping any fuel and causing that cylinder not to fire. Does anyone know if there is a aftermarket injector pump for a Jinma 254? Mine is a 2007 model.

No aftermarket pump. No real repair for the oe pump either. Your only option is to carefully take apart the pump and see if its a stuck plunger which some have had and were able to free with good results. The only other option is get a new pump.

Whatever you do make sure you read up on removing the pump so it goes back the same way and is in reasonable time.

One other suggestion is to try swapping around the injectors before you tear into the pump. It could have a stuck injector or just one that is carboned up. Again, no aftermarket injectors or fixing them. If you find it follows the injector I would order a couple spares, they are cheap.

Actually there are aftermarket pumps that can be adapted. Stanadyne makes a couple that may work but they cost considerably more than the OEM assembly, and be advised that the governor may not mate up to it so you will be looking at a pump assembly AND a governor (yes, they are separate assemblies). I recommend taking it to a diesel shop.
I agree with Chris on the injector test. That could be the case if you have one that's not popping correctly.
