Is it possible to update a tractor that has 1/4 inching valve for the 3pt. to position control valve? I own a Kubota b2620.

you can't change the tractor that you have, but if you could... it would cost more than upgrading to a B2630.

Thanks, I really dont want to part w/ my current 2620 as it is perfect for my property needs. I really dont know much about position control and have only owned 2 tractors both w/ 1/4 inching valve. I have gotten used to turning around to constantly make sure the position is correct, which I guess is the one benefit of position control. I am young so I guess turning around for the next 20 yrs. wont be such a bad thing. Thanks for the input!

With my attachments gage wheels set the depth/ height just fine when hooked up to my B7800's 1/4" 3 pt hitch. As far as the Woods rear blade (no gage wheels) a little practice and there are no issues when setting the depth/ height. The more I own the B7800 the more I like it, even with the 1/4" valve.

I agree. The more I use my B2620 the more I love it! I also looked at the B7800 and also really liked this one as well. A tad bigger than the 2620 and just this little differnce in height (couple inches) didnt allow me to get it into the barn w/o folding the rops. The 2620 fits in like a glove (thank god cause I already had the barn before the tractor) I had a smaller N.H.scut before this one which is what the barn was built for. I do have gauge wheels also on my rake but have been doing some Box blade work which caused me top ask this question originally. I am fairly new to tractor ops (roughly 100 hrs. seat time and 40 of this has been mowing) so I am getting used to it and I have the 1/4 inching down pretty good which I should only get better.
