$1500? Of course it depends on the condition but I would think that isnt too far off.

That's a fair amount of hours for a 1500 series machine.

How does it look? Generally, if the machine isn't beat up looking, the owner took care of it.

I'd say $2K max for price.

I bought a new GT1554 in 07 i think i paid about $3000 for it.I bought it for the deck size but after i got it i wanted to do more with it like plug aerate snow removal and it just would not hold up to do those things.It was a fine machine but not what i needed.So i sold it after 2 seasons.It took some time to sell it.It was in great shape had less than 60hrs on it i always keep it very clean and waxed.I had it on craigslist and in 2 local papers.People did call but when they fond out it was belt drive never heard from them again.I did finally sell it but i lost my you know what on it.After that season i saw the guy who bought it had it up for sale.
So IMHO i would not give $1500
