After replacing the fuel filter, I noticed the fuel lines on either side of the filter are clamped to a 90deg fitting that seems to be just pressed in to the filter housing.
Both sides just pull out. This seems to create a slow diesel drip on the injector-side hose.
Are these normally just pressed in, or did a factory adhesive fail? Would a little JB weld or epoxy on the 90deg fittings be a reasonable solution?
Edit: The only similar thread I could find was here, which indicates that other manufacturers use a similar setup:

I went to start my JD455 and it quickly starting sputtering and showing signs of fuel starvation. I pulled the engine side cover and saw diesel leaking from the fuel filter area. The assembly was loose from it's engine block mount (vibration??) and the filter's fitting going to the injector...
