    Woods BH80X backhoe

I have a Woods BH80X backhoe mounted (with subframe) on an L3400 Kubota. It has a pto pump and tank. I want to replace the filter on the pto system but can’t find any identifying numbers. Anyone have an idea what filter it takes?

    WTB Woods BH80X

After about two years of on and off looking and comparing the pros and cons of both new and used, I bought a tractor to replace / upgrade my old JD 770 with model 70 loader and Woods BH7500 backhoe. It was a bit of an ordeal to do while still complying with the travel restriction wishes of both...

Woods BH80X drifts after letting off the stick

Hi All. I have a BH80X on a Bobcat CT230, today while digging up a stump, I noticed that when I let go of the stick, the boom would keep drifting slowly to the right. It would do this whether I had the tractor running or not and it didn't matter if I had the hydraulics shut off to the hoe. Any...

    Woods BH80X issues

My father recently purchased a DK40SE with a woods backhoe and I noticed a few things that I haven't noticed with other units 1. The main boom function seems very jerky even with the tractor idled all the way down its extremely touchy. 2. The main boom tends to drift towards the ground, I...

Backhoe  Woods BH80x or Kubota BH77?

I am looking at buying a backhoe for my L3901. Does anybody have experience with a woods BH80x on a similar sized tractor? I know the BH77 is a good backhoe but I think a hydraulic thumb would be a great time saver over a mechanical. I would appreciate any input from owners or users of either...

L3540 with rear remotes AND a BH80x Backhoe

Been a long time coming but I finally got a backhoe for our L3540. I chose the Woods BH80x for a few reasons; I wanted a hydraulic thumb, the price and USA made. While I am sure the Kubota BH92 would have been spectacular it is much more expensive and it weights a bunch more. It does look like a...

    Woods BH80x broken boom cylinder

I was using the backhoe to dig out some stumps today. I pushed on a stump with the back of the bucket and the dipper cylinder broke at the cylinder rod end. I have over 400 hours on the backhoe and have easily dugs out over a hundred stumps. The break looks just like the one that westbrooklawn...

    Backhoe  Woods BH80X Question

I have an opportunity to "upgrade" to 80X on my CK27... the question is: is this backhoe a good match for the tractor? I have seen sluggish performace in hoes not sized properly for the tractor when the required pressure (even with high revs) is too low... the result is typically...

    Woods BH80X for Kubota L3400

Looking into this BH for my '09 Kubota. My dealer just told me that Woods is no longer offering the sub-frame for the L3400 and is steering me towards the 3-pt, which I don't want. Can anybody give me a part # for the subframe mount so I can look it up? I will try and call Woods tomorrow and...

    B3300su Upgarded R4's/Woods BH80x

The larger size R4's. I want them. Tell me that I can use a 3ph finish mower and not rut and muddy the one acre of old farm land that passes for our front lawn. Woods BH80x backhoe. "Looks" huge slung off the back of the B3300. Too much hoe for this tractor? 16" bucket too big for light...

Woods BH80X - broken cylinder end

I was digging out a 10" stump with my Woods BH80X (done it a hundred times before), when suddenly BANG!... the cross tube on the cylinder end of the dip stick cylinder had broken off. The weld didn't break, but it actually pulled a plug of metal out of the cross tube. I am thinking I can clean...

    Backhoe  New Woods BH80X today..

At an Idle, I can do a lot. At 1500RPM's this thing has more power than I expected. I was worried that I didn't have the GPM's to run it to it's full potential, but I was wrong. I spent 2 hours getting used to it tonight. In that time, I went from bumbling around to actually controlling it.

    Backhoe  Selling subframe Bh80x backhoe

I have a woods bh 80x backhoe on my kubota b3030, around a year old. It's got the optional manual thumb. I'm thinking about buying a TLB,at which point it doesn't seem like I'd need 2 backhoes, even though I've been quite pleased with the woods. Question is, is there a used market for...

    BH80x Backhoe creak

I've got a Brand new Woods BH80x subframe mounted on a Kioti CK30. As I crowd the boom under load there is some very unnerving creaking (almost a metal popping). Woods BH80X on L3400

Went to a dealer today that told me he sells the Woods BH80X and puts them on the L3400 all the time. Other dealers tell me the Woods is big for the L3400 and I would have to go with the Kubota BH75. I really like the Woods backhoe but don't want it if it is too big. Any thoughts on the right fit.
