    3520 hydralic for wood splitter

I have a jd 3520 with cab, loader and 3rd function. Is there somewhere I can put fittings on the tractor, hook hydraulic lines to them and run to the rear of the tractor to hook to the control on a wood splitter? Thank you

Anybody use their BCS PTO to power other hydraulics?

Hi folks, after looking at wood splitters as per this thread: BCS branded wood splitter? I have been wondering if anyone has set up their tractor to run a splitter or other implement that would be freestanding but utilize the PTO via an adaptation to link to the hydraulic pump. Since the pump...

    BCS branded wood splitter?

I need a wood splitter and am trying to choose between ponying up $$$$ for the Wallenstein manufactured unit or looking for a good used splitter that will have a dedicated engine (preferably Timberwolf as they are local). The Bell unit offered by Earthtools is not very appealing- very low...

Pump on Dirty Hands Wood Splitter - LEAKING

OK, I'm real novice when it comes to these systems Never taken one apart, replaced a hose, etc. I have added Hydraulic Fluid to the HF Tank. I keep the thing indoors unless I am splitting wood. I have had it for four years? Maybe a couple more. I noticed a wet spot on the basement floor...

Problem with a Home Depot Toro splitter rental

I'm beginning to hate renting anything from Home Depot. I bring home truckloads of dead/standing oak throughout the year. When I get enough, I rent a splitter from HD and split it all at once. Last year when I rented a splitter from them, I got it all the way home, before I noticed the ram...

    Log splitter wheels

The wheels on my Log splitter are very cracked and I found a new pair of wheels very cheap ($20 for the pair) at Mardens (if you're from Maine, you know about Mardens). Problem is the splitter axle is 3/4" and the wheels are 1". Is there any reason not to get a steel bushing to make them work...

Splitting Wood with Split-Fire Wood Splitter

I have a Split-Fire wood splitter that I use with my LX2610. I had previously used it on a B3030 and L3540 I once had. I would often be splitting word when I had a snowblower on back, and too early to remove it. I made an "A frame" so I could hang it off either my bucket with a center hook or...

    3 Point Log Splitter

Made a quick video, hopefully it is helpful to anyone considering a 3 point splitter. I picked this one up for $250. I added the "table" area at the back to keep logs from falling down. I added a control rod coming from the tractor hydraulic block to the area where you stand. This is a simple...
