I have a jd 3520 with cab, loader and 3rd function.
Is there somewhere I can put fittings on the tractor, hook hydraulic lines to them and run to the rear of the tractor to hook to the control on a wood splitter?
Thank you
Hi folks, after looking at wood splitters as per this thread: BCS branded wood splitter? I have been wondering if anyone has set up their tractor to run a splitter or other implement that would be freestanding but utilize the PTO via an adaptation to link to the hydraulic pump.

I need a wood splitter and am trying to choose between ponying up $$$$ for the Wallenstein manufactured unit or looking for a good used splitter that will have a dedicated engine (preferably Timberwolf as they are local).
The Bell unit offered by Earthtools is not very appealing- very low...
