    Bobcat CT225 Hitch Problems

Check out this thread https://tractorbynet.com/forums/threads/ck30hst-3-point-hitch-stuck-in-up-position-not-the-seat-valve-speed-adjustment.260641/page-2 Had a similar issue with mine years ago, popped out the MLS valve, found a small chunk of gasket material in it, removed it popped it back...

    Bobcat CT1025 - Starting issues

Wild guess, could it be vapor lock in the fuel system? Try opening the cap to the diesel tank next time it happens and see if you hear a sucking sound. Might be worth checking the fuel level in the diesel filter and see if there is any air in it (hopefully its see through). Good luck.

    Looking for Discontinued gasket

Hi Tim, I had the exact same failure on mine. It also appeared to be an assembly defect by Jeil. There were also imperfections in the mating surfaces that contact the seal which I ended up lapping out prior to reassembly. To make a long story short, the local BobCat dealer was able to order...

Hydraulic Leak from HST Case CK30 / CT230

OK so this is the current state of the tractor. I'll certainly need to source parts to remedy the issue. Question is should I go further to seek the out the possible source of the gasket material found earlier in the primary hydraulic oil filter. Also trying to decide the best means of...

Hydraulic Leak from HST Case CK30 / CT230

The four pictures attached are of the HST case, 1 before splitting and the other three showing the interior components. The arrow shows the ruptured / failed seal. Not sure what the gasket material is? Seems very paper like. Question is what caused it to fail? Seems like the logical next...

Hydraulic Leak from HST Case CK30 / CT230

Into the garage with the HST unit. Picture 3 is of the "plugs" where the oil was noted dripping from several posts back. Pulled and inspected them. The o-rings seem fine. Next I removed the top plate to the precharge pump (seen in the zip lock bag). The gyrotor was really hard to remove...

Hydraulic Leak from HST Case CK30 / CT230

Model of HST is a JEIL HPVMF-23-L-03 Series 200. It appears to be out of production (or at least does not appear in the current JEIL PMC catalog). The code appears to equate to "Hydraulic Pump Variable Motor Fixed 23 cc per revolution Left hand rotation Series 200 JEIL PMC Mission Other...

Hydraulic Leak from HST Case CK30 / CT230

Removing the HST case (also pictures of bent spring and lost circlip).

Hydraulic Leak from HST Case CK30 / CT230

To split the tractor, aside from all the wiring, hydraulic lines, and obvious mechanical assemblies, the propeller shaft must also be disconnected. There is a housing that slides off after removing a single bolt at each end. Removal of a spring pin allows the coupler to slide off the shaft...

Hydraulic Leak from HST Case CK30 / CT230

As it was necessary to drain the case anyway, I went ahead and pulled the filters. Note the big piece of gasket material caught in the filter. New filters are shown (with part numbers) for reference.

Hydraulic Leak from HST Case CK30 / CT230

Just adding some pictures. One is of the tractor (mostly together) just in case the patient does not survive surgery. Another is with an endoscope, jambed up inside the HST case, noticing the drip, which is evident even when the engine is off. Also is an example of a loose fastener as found...

Hydraulic Leak from HST Case CK30 / CT230

Hi All, I have a 2009 Bobcat CT230 (White paint version of a Kioti CK30 HST) which looks to have developed a leak from inside the HST case. Background: Tractor is at the 500 hour service mark. It's had the HST pedal "sticking" for a number of years though occasional / minimal. I noticed the...

How do you carry your chainsaw ?

Here's mine all from scrap... The plastic bar cover was part of a case that the local hardware store lost so they gave me the other half for free. The bottom of the bar cover was cut out to avoid water /debris accumulation. The assembly mounts with a single 5/16" bolt and "clamps" around the...

Brake / Starter Safety Interlock Switch Locations?

Hi, While using the CT230 this morning, I set the parking brake and hopped of the tractor for a couple of seconds. The engine cut off and won't start. Normally with the parking brake set she keeps on purring. Figuring maybe I bumped the PTO lever or such I tired wiggling them and also tried...

Posthole Digger  PHD conversion to hydraulic??

Hi All, Since there is an impressive array of people on this site way more experienced than me with such matters, it seems appropriate to submit the following for your consideration. I have been toying with the idea of converting my current Post Hole Digger from PTO driven to a hydraulic...

    Help.....Hydraulic Cylinder Rebuild??

Hi, I purchased an old heavy duty boxblade that came of a MF 30 E? With it came the top link hydraulic cylinder. So I figured since the cylinder was sitting outside for at least the last 10 years and there was signs of leakage I would attempt to rebuild it prior to attaching it to my...

Hi, Well after a marathon session of waiting, countless emails and telephone calls, my new machine was delivered just in time for Christmas. To condense the story, I signed the sales order on June 26th and the machine was delivered on Dec 23. There seemed to be some disparities with the local...

    Deluxe Package for 2008 Machines?

Hi, Did anyone out there order a machine C225, C230, C235 size earlier in the year with the Deluxe package? What did the deluxe package contain? I'm under the impression that the deluxe package contained loader joystick, mid PTO and some other items? I'm about to take delivery of a C230...

Briggs and Stratton 15.5 HP 28Q777 replacement??

Hi, It looks like the engine on my Toro riding mower has given up the ghost. Essentially it starts and then gushes oil from the crank case into the carb through the crank case vent. I pulled the cam shaft cover and found that the exhaust valve appears to not open nearly as much as the fuel...
