My backhoe is 2 hrs away and in a pretty remote area. Drove all the way up there last week and had a cracked fitting so I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a repair kit with crimper and fittings for the kubota?
Thanks
I'm going to make a cement ballast for inside the bucket, just no where else to put it up front.
As far as chain tension, I don't know, I'll have to look it up on how to take the play up and yes the boom will lift back of tractor off the ground
So for the most part it worked pretty good. It is too heavy for my tractor tho. Pulls the front wheels right off the ground when going uphill. I had to stop and fill front bucket with stone's.
2 questions
It has side to side play, when releasing the lever it will continue around 10" both ways...
Well here it is peeps. Everything works. Only problem is my head hits the rops so I have to bend forward a bit or hinge the rops forward. And definitely need a bit of ballast in front bucket 😆
Sub frame is on. I welded the front bracket to the loader frame. No easy task upside down. I also had to leave those bolts out, the sub frame has to pivot to be put on so no way those bolts can stay in. I'm a bit concerned about that. It's to hold the rops on which isn't a problem it's 2 bolts...
So you're saying come FROM the hydraulic block to backhoe and return into the loader valve instead of what was previously mentioned which is the opposite ?
Valve to BH and back to block
I ran out of welding gas so I can't complete the front bracket just yet but the rear hooked up rather easy. I had to take the hitch off though. My only concern is I had to remove a bolt on each side to get the frame to slide on. Deciding if I want to remove the frame and grind that section away...
This is my current setup. On the loader valve the PB port (red arrow) goes to one side of hydraulic block (red arrow)
The other port (yellow arrow) goes to other side of block (yellow arrow) return to sump is the other port. There is also another port marked "in"
I've been operating excavators most of my life so no worries about stressing the tractor being my fault and it has a pretty heavy sub frame. More concerns with transport weight and doing wheelies. I may have to put some ballast in front bucket
The guy I bought it from says he has the 2 lines from backhoe hooked up to his front loader control ? Not sure I can do it on mine. Trying to get some insight on how from here. Trying to avoid the cost of a pto pump if I can
Picking this up Saturday. Got it for $3,500.00 hope I'm not making a mistake. Everyone here says go for it, Facebook tractor page says its too heavy lol. The bh6500 I looked at with a pto pump and Reservoir is the same weight as the 7500 without the pump and Reservoir
Yeah removing the 3pt hitch will be a pain for me because I use the tractor with a brush hog and tiller and I'm sure putting this thing on and taking off by myself is not going to be an easy task
I wouldn't know if the sub frame fits until I get it back here. I would think the 6500 would fit since it's the model my tractor calls for and the 7500 would probably have to be modified which is no big deal. I'm a pretty Good fabricator and welder. According to the specs on both the 7500 would...
So my tractor has a 826lb lift capacity on the 3 pt. The 7500 weigh roughly 900lbs with the bucket I also found this which I'm told is the right size for my tractor around 700lbs
My concern is the 7500 calls for a minimum of 20 hp where mine is 16 hp and it's also 200lbs heavier than the 650.
There's a nice 7500 for sale local with a sub frame for 3500.00 so I need to make a decision I guess
I have a B1550 tractor I'm looking for a backhoe for. Specs call for a bh65, 650,6000 size for this tractor. Looking to buy used. I found several bh7500 models but the smaller one I'm not having any luck. My question is would a 7500 with a sub frame work on my size ?
Thanks
