I think it has a live PTO. When I first tried it, the PTO shaft wasn't turning when I had the tractor in gear. When I put it in neutral, it started turning. The PTO shaft still turned when I let the clutch out, when still in neutral. Is this expected?

I will try it at lowest speed and look at the PTO shaft to see if it is turning (don't think it was). It was the first time I used it so it had a brand new shear bolt and actually didn't even dig into the ground at all so I think the shear bolt is ok.

Its working now. When I started looking into it a little more, I noticed that it looked like the actuator piston wasn't coming out enough to dump (it was sticking). I sprayed a little WD-40 around the actuator piston area and cycled the 3 point lift a few times. It works great now!

Actually it just occurred to me that the tires may already be tubeless. I guess I will know when I take them to a tire shop!

I recently purchased new front tires and tubes for my Yanmar 1500 tractor from Hoye tractor equipment. However, I just noticed that it says “tubeless” on the tires. Can I really just install the tire without the tube (probably bring it to a tire place)?

Thanks for all the replies! Yep, I meant decompression valve (control). I live in Alabama so it rarely gets really cold and just bought a new battery so I think it should be fine not using when I start it (unless I do crank it up when we do have a cold snap). Thanks again for all the info b
