Thank you. The manual says 30PSI for my R4 tires, which seems like a lot considering almost 75% of the volume is now filled with ballast.

I have a compact Yanmar SA424 and was wondering what the proper PSI is for the rear tires when they are loaded with ballast? I have searched and cannot find a definitive answer. I'm sure it depends on a few factors, so I could give more details if needed.

In the Operations Manual, it says "After the engine has started, warm up the engine for 5 minutes at 2000 to 2400 RPM without any load" Does that mean start it at 2000-2400 RPM, or start it at idle and bring the throttle up to 2000-2400 RPM for 5 minutes?

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but do any of you know what this connector type is called? If you do not get the Yanmar branded ROPs lights, how do you ensure the connector they come with will be the same?

Thanks. I don't have a BH, so I guess I don't have it. Can you not just run the rear remote hydraulics to the where the Power Beyond would have tied in?

Do you mind explaining what would be required to put rear remotes on mine? I am looking at the Summit rear remote kits, but it says it needs the "Power Beyond Kit installed." What exactly does that mean? I do not see a Power Beyond Kit listed on their site for the Yanmar.

Just as an update. The camshaft blew apart inside and was what flew out the back of the engine. Got a new engine installed and so far so good.

That's a good question. It is because the repair shop would not sell me just an engine as they don't honor their warranty if they do not do the work themselves. The price was reasonable, so I said sure.

It is what it is. I reached out to a small engine repair place and they will swap the motor out with another used one for me. Better than buying an entirely new mower I suppose.

Think I found the problem. Well first, I think my compression release spring valve is busted off, as I don't see a bump when moving the valves by hand. But I got it to fire up anyway, started mowing and notices some smoke and leaking oil on the ground. Wonder if that was the compression valve...

So I just adjusted the valves. They did not seem out of spec to me and I did not check to see what they were at. But I loosened them and set them to 4 thou. Started right up... So I think you guys were right. Can you explain to me about the compression release so I can understand? Thanks...

How about rear remotes? Can also be done at home? Have not seen any videos of the installation related directly to the SA series.

Thank you for the help. My concern with that is that the pins are up relatively high and would require it to be lifted just buzzing around the property. I thought maybe the 2" receiver and cargo carrier would sit a bit higher up. Just to be clear, this is what I am talking about attaching.
