Tire Pressure for Rears with Ballast

This is about what I assumed would be suggested. Guess I will start here and see how it goes.

Tire Pressure for Rears with Ballast

Thank you. The manual says 30PSI for my R4 tires, which seems like a lot considering almost 75% of the volume is now filled with ballast.

Tire Pressure for Rears with Ballast

I have a compact Yanmar SA424 and was wondering what the proper PSI is for the rear tires when they are loaded with ballast? I have searched and cannot find a definitive answer. I'm sure it depends on a few factors, so I could give more details if needed.

    Tire Pressure with Liquid Ballast

Thank you all for your input. I filled my front up to what the manual called for and will go to 14 or so in the rears.

    Tire Pressure with Liquid Ballast

First tractor owner. Got my Yanmar out for the Spring and wanted to check the tire pressure. Manual says for my R4s, front 35psi, rear 30psi. Fronts were about 32psi, so I left it. I know there is liquid ballast in my rears so I put the valve at the top and checked with my analog pressure...

Everlast Welders - Welders and Plasma Cutters by Everlast

As someone looking to learn to Stick weld, can you school me in the differences between your <$500 models: the 161STH, 210STL, 200STi and 140Sti? Assuming the numbers are the output current, what do the letters indicate? And how do your models compare to what I can buy at my local store, the...

    SA Series Safety Shutoff Situations

Yes, exactly. I pushed the pedal forward while my butt was off the seat. Thanks for the confirmation.

    SA Series Safety Shutoff Situations

Interesting. I can get off my tractor when it is running though and it does not shut off. Or do you mean when the parking brake is not engaged?

    SA Series Safety Shutoff Situations

What are the various situations where the engine will shut off while running? Today, while using my forks, I stood up from the seat in order to see them, went forward a bit, and the engine shut off. Just wanted to make sure that was normal. Makes sense I suppose. The only other situation I...

    SA Series Start Up Procedure

In the Operations Manual, it says "After the engine has started, warm up the engine for 5 minutes at 2000 to 2400 RPM without any load" Does that mean start it at 2000-2400 RPM, or start it at idle and bring the throttle up to 2000-2400 RPM for 5 minutes?

    SA 424/324 12V Power Outlet

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but do any of you know what this connector type is called? If you do not get the Yanmar branded ROPs lights, how do you ensure the connector they come with will be the same?

    New SA425

Thanks. I don't have a BH, so I guess I don't have it. Can you not just run the rear remote hydraulics to the where the Power Beyond would have tied in?

    New SA425

Do you mind explaining what would be required to put rear remotes on mine? I am looking at the Summit rear remote kits, but it says it needs the "Power Beyond Kit installed." What exactly does that mean? I do not see a Power Beyond Kit listed on their site for the Yanmar.

First Time Homeowner - E110 Not Starting

Just as an update. The camshaft blew apart inside and was what flew out the back of the engine. Got a new engine installed and so far so good.

Link? I am unable to find them.

First Time Homeowner - E110 Not Starting

That's a good question. It is because the repair shop would not sell me just an engine as they don't honor their warranty if they do not do the work themselves. The price was reasonable, so I said sure.

First Time Homeowner - E110 Not Starting

It is what it is. I reached out to a small engine repair place and they will swap the motor out with another used one for me. Better than buying an entirely new mower I suppose.

First Time Homeowner - E110 Not Starting

Thank you for your detailed response. The picture above shows a hole blown in the side of the engine, which is where the oil and smoke was coming from. Ran fine for a few hours after setting the valves. Took a lunch break, had trouble starting it but it eventually turned over. Made a few...

First Time Homeowner - E110 Not Starting

Think I found the problem. Well first, I think my compression release spring valve is busted off, as I don't see a bump when moving the valves by hand. But I got it to fire up anyway, started mowing and notices some smoke and leaking oil on the ground. Wonder if that was the compression valve...

First Time Homeowner - E110 Not Starting

So I just adjusted the valves. They did not seem out of spec to me and I did not check to see what they were at. But I loosened them and set them to 4 thou. Started right up... So I think you guys were right. Can you explain to me about the compression release so I can understand? Thanks...

    New SA425

How about rear remotes? Can also be done at home? Have not seen any videos of the installation related directly to the SA series.

First Time Homeowner - E110 Not Starting

I recently bought my first home and also bought the E110 from the previous owner. Has 200 hours, and did the complete maintenance kit when I moved in and has been great since February. It recently starting doing this, where I cannot start it. I can usually start it the first time of the day...

    New SA425

SA425 | YANMAR Tractor And I just bought my fist tractor, the SA424. I don't know enough about them to know if it is a huge upgrade or not. I'm sure you guys do. Anyway, a question on my SA424, could you tell me what is required to use the grapple? Is that what the rear remotes are for...

First Time Owner - Transport Cart Question

Thank you for the help. My concern with that is that the pins are up relatively high and would require it to be lifted just buzzing around the property. I thought maybe the 2" receiver and cargo carrier would sit a bit higher up. Just to be clear, this is what I am talking about attaching.

First Time Owner - Transport Cart Question

Just took ownership of my first tractor for my small 2 acre lot in Pennsylvania - a Yanmar SA424. Only have the FEL and also got a posthole digger which I used to build a chicken run for my Fiancé but took it off when I was finished. With nothing on the back, I am looking for a carrying cart...
