Finally got the frame together. Took a big tree root out. I didn’t baby anything and it stood up nicely. No flex. Pins work beautifully (I’ll report back if this changes over time) Actually the tractor drives much better with this close coupled weight at the rear. Big shout out to dfkrug...

Many thanks, yes i did send him a message as well. I will investigate the pressure relief valve. I don't think the backhoe has one. My FEL operates normally so pretty sure the relief valve on the tractor is ok.

Chad did you ever find a solution to this? I have the same symptoms on an old backhoe.

Got the tractor side attached. Might beef up some more of the welds. I ended up adding some extra support to the rear axle mounts. They are still removable if needed. But I suspect I’ll keep them on permanently. I’ve gone with pins. I’ve shimmed them so they fit tight. Maybe too tight, so...
