    Massey Ferguson 1840E

Can't say on a 6 foot, as my brush hog is only a 4 foot, but I mowed down thick dogwood and grass as high as the tractor this fall and the Massey didn't bog one bit. Granted, I was in granny gear trying to keep an eye out for boulders. Haven't updated in a while, but just about to hit 300 hours...

    Massey Ferguson 1840E

Sorry for the delayed response, been very busy and haven't been on in a while. Ground has been much to wet for the tractor to get used much. That being said, it does get around very well in the mud haha. Last I saw, it had 93.5 hours and had done its second regen around 90 hours. Only issue so...

    Massey Ferguson 1840E

Just wanted to share a few quick thoughts on the 1840E for anyone looking at buying one. There are several great videos online highlighting them, but there doesn't seem to be much real-world feedback. 34,000lb rears

Sometimes things make better sense in my head. Assuming the 34k rears are within their load rating and carrying the same weight as 46k rears (let's say, they both are carrying 25,000lbs), 34k rears will not last quite as long, because the heavier axles are built with heavier components/housings...

    34,000lb rears

As long as the axle ratings/GVWR aren't exceeded, I don't really see an issue. The axles were rated as such for a reason. Only thing is they won't hold up as well as 40 or 46k rears.

    Bad Boy Zero Turn Mower

When I was in the market about 4 years ago, I almost bought a 48" Bad Boy. I don't remember the model, but I was very impressed with the overall quality, value, and comfort of the machine. A guy I work with has had a 60" Bad Boy for a couple of mowing seasons and loves the thing to death. A...

    New guy

Greetings, been a long time browser on this forum and finally decided to sign up after all the help I've gotten over the years. Currently own a 1952 Ferguson TO-30 that I bought in high school, and finally gave her due justice a couple winters ago with a rebuilt engine, fresh paint, and an...
